How to fix fans with a new rivet?
The probability of our fans losing their metal rivet head and falling apart is less than 1%. We open and close each fan at least 4 times to make sure the rivet is tight. But it can still happen sometimes. If your fan veil is unfortunate enough to lose its tiny metal rivet head, you'll need a new set of rivets (both the rivet and the metal head) as in the picture above to fix it.
In the video, the fan has completely fallen apart, so we need to attach the blades one at a time. But in real life, usually only the small metal head of the rivet is gone. The rivet is still inside to hold the blades in place. Keep the rivet inside until you get a new one. You can save a lot of time that way.
If you manage to find the metal head again, you can carefully clamp the hole of the rivet shut before you knock the head back. That might come in handy for a while. You'll still need a new rivet.
